Miniature toy train
"I CAN CREATE THREE-DIMENSIONAL SOLID MODELS OF PARTS WITHIN CAD FROM SKETCHES OR DIMENSIONED DRAWINGS USING APPROPRIATE GEOMETRIC AND DIMENSIONAL CONSTRAINTS."
-Jordan Beers
train body
The Train body was the second hardest to do, besides the wheel. It looked like the hardest but it actually wasn't. The hardest part was putting in all of the fillets, because there was a lot of them! The other part I had trouble on was the Half arc in the back. At first I was doing it wrong and I couldn't figure it out but then I realised that the dimensions that were given were for the radius and I was using them for my diameter. That's definitely not a mistake I'll make again.
Full Train
This is the Full Train that I made on Inventor. I am really happy with the results because this entire project was challenging so it was nice to have a good product. I tried to make it look like a train Iron Man would use. It was hard assembling all of the parts because you have to use many types of constraints but once I figured it out, It was pretty simple afterwards. This Train proves the "I Can" Statement.
Conclusion
All and all this part was pretty fun. I enjoyed putting it together and was happy with the final product. It was frustrating at times but it was great practice. I learned how to do some new things which will be helpful for future projects.
